Founder & Creative Director
Hi, I’m Nate.
I founded Groundwork because great brands are built from the ground up. Groundwork is the vehicle that allows me to build them that way.
I’m fascinated by design and driven by doing things the right way. You’ll almost always find me halfway through a book about something like design, art, pricing, marketing, culture, or business.
Outside of work, you might find me on my bike, in the mountains, or both—I’m a 2023 Triple Bypass finisher! Along with my wife, Courtney, I love to camp, hike, fish, bike, snowboard, and enjoy life in colorful Colorado and sunny Arizona. I’ve been a photographer my whole adult life, and I bring my Fujifilm X100V along on our adventures.
